I think I got so busy with my holiday - my family, no matter how much they change will always be the same in a lot of ways - and then with trying to make little projects for myself, I really almost forgot I had this thing. Funny, that.

Since I don't have a date for the wedding, I decided to ring up Tish and make her my +1.
I'm looking on the bright side, though! Because I've been thinking about it, and having a date that's my sister means I'd be free to dance with a different bloke for each song if I wanted. Not that I will. Just if I wanted.

I know I'm really sort of pants at using this thing unless I'm replying to someone else, but I thought it might be good to get on here and belatedly thank everyone for the birthday outing. I had fun! I also used my days off last week to celebrate with my family in London, and... would you believe it? No fighting!!! Surprised the hell out of me, I'll tell you. But then again, they've sort of... been like that since
