Martha is a flirt when she finds a guy she has chemistry with, and when she likes someone, she wants them to feel the same way she does. She doesn't like feeling second best, or not as good as someone else, and she knows when it's time for her to part ways for something. She's mostly "what you see is what you get" and the members of her family are the most important people in her life, and her first priority along with her goals of being a doctor. She doesn't let anyone mess with her family's safety, not even the Doctor, and she's very strong and independent. Martha had been working at Torchwood for the past two years, alongside Jack, when he disappeared. Fifty-three days after that, Martha solves her own cube; canon through the end of series 3.
